SurveyLang is an international consortium of expert organisations in the fields of language assessment, surveys and sample design and psychometrics. SurveyLang exists to deliver the European Survey on Language Competences, a major initiative by the European Commission to support the development of language-learning policies across Europe.
SurveyLang was awarded the contract to develop the survey in February 2008, based on its response to a tender issued by the European Commission.
The SurveyLang project team is currently working to finalise the timetable for the project and to put in place arrangements for consultation with stakeholders.
