The European Survey on Language Competences is moving at a rapid pace as the SurveyLang team passes key milestones and makes preparations for the Field Trial in February/March 2010.Following the Field Trial, the Main Study will be undertaken in February/March 2011. The Main Study is the heart of the entire project. It will produce the raw data which, when subjected to a complex series of analyses, will provide valuable insights into language ability and language learning across Europe.
