A brief outline of the key milestones in this pan-European and multi-disciplinary project is shown below.
A full Field Trial will take place in 2010 ahead of the main survey in the first quarter of 2011. This first administration of the European Survey on Language Competences will be concluded when SurveyLang delivers its final report in the first quarter of 2012.
